The Role (Your Why) Join our well-established D365 Finance&Supply Chain Management practice with NZ's largest IT Services Provider. As a Senior Functional Consultant for D365 F&SCM, you will support our customers in a client-facing role, taking lead responsibility for the functional areas of the solution. You will act as a conduit between the client's business users, stakeholders, and technical teams. Your role includes supporting existing clients and implementing new solutions based on industry best practices. You should be comfortable leading workshops, eliciting requirements, crafting solutions, and communicating concepts at all client levels.You will be involved in business transformation initiatives and large projects that leverage D365 F&SCM, along with other solutions such as ISV products, Financial Planning tools, D365 Customer Engagement, Data Platforms, and more. Building and maintaining trusting relationships with clients, collaborating on solutions with other teams, and leading the gathering of business requirements, functional design, and implementation of D365 F&SCM components are key aspects of this role, ensuring solutions meet customer specifications and adhere to Datacom's standards. What You Will Bring Functional Financial Expertise: Deep understanding of Microsoft D365 F&SCM modules, especially Finance (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit and Collections, Cash and Bank Management, Budgeting, Fixed Assets, Expense Management). Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft D365 F&SCM or Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 implementations and support. Experience in Demand Forecasting, Master Planning, Warehouse Management, Expense Management, Multi-company, Project Accounting, and Financial Management is highly valued. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and translate financial requirements into processes and solutions, focusing on out-of-the-box functionality over heavy customization.Project Experience: Knowledge of project scoping, analysis, estimation, and post-live training/support to inform and build implementation projects or enhancements. Documentation Skills: Strong skills in creating and maintaining detailed system architecture, design specifications, and user requirements.Communication Skills: Excellent ability to interact and build relationships with internal teams, clients, product owners, project managers, and end users. Problem-Solving: Capable of identifying and resolving process, technical, or functional client issues. Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Finance Functional Consultant Associate (MB-310) and Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate (MB-330) are highly advantageous.Why Datacom?
