We are growing our team, and we have an exciting opportunity to welcome three Senior Business Specialist roles into our Third Party Banking whanau.Te tūranga | The role : As a Senior Business Specialist within Third Party Banking, you will work in our Business Hub which is dedicated to delivering outstanding outcomes for our advisers and their business customers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support Business customers through the adviser channel with their lending needs. There will be a requirement to understand business financials, assess and analyse risks on complex and multi-faceted applications.It is important that you are able to accurately assess complex Home, Business and Commercial lending applications. Ensure timely and robust outcomes are delivered to advisors. In addition, you will provide peer to peer coaching to build capability across complex Home, Business and Commercial lending and support to the Business Hub Manager with delegated duties, including but not limited to coaching, cover, advisor management.Whether it's helping a customer into their first or second home, investing in property, building, renovating, refinancing, or purchasing for a business need you're in a good position to help deliver good customer outcomes for SME customers. This position offers a unique opportunity for an experienced business lender to further their career and be part of an exciting growth phase within Third Party Banking.We offer great flexibility and autonomy within Third Party Banking, and as we're looking for the best people you can be based anywhere in the country.Ō pūkenga | About you : We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise time effectively.You will be proficient in assessing business financials and experienced in complex business lending. A SME Business Intermediate level CAA is preferred. Excellent oral and written skills in a business context. Ability to problem solve, interpret financial statements, provide a risk assessment for the bank.Organisational and time management skills. Hold a current Advanced Business CAA or equivalent. 3+ Years of Business/ Commercial Lending experience 5+Years banking, financial services and/or account management experience.
