The Role (Your Why) Join our well-established D365 Finance&Supply Chain Management practice with NZ's largest IT Services Provider. As a Senior Functional Consultant for D365 F&SCM, you will support our customers in a client-facing role, taking lead responsibility for the functional areas of the solution. You will serve as the conduit between the client's business users, stakeholders, and technical development teams. Your role involves supporting existing clients and implementing new solutions based on industry best practices. You should be comfortable engaging with clients at all levels, leading workshops, eliciting requirements, crafting solutions, and articulating concepts.You will participate in business transformation initiatives and large projects that leverage D365 F&SCM, other ISV solutions, Financial Planning tools, D365 Customer Engagement, Data Platforms, and more. Building and maintaining trusting relationships with clients, you will collaborate on solutions with other teams. You will lead the gathering of business requirements, functional design, and implementation of D365 F&SCM components that meet customer specifications and align with Datacom's standards and guidelines. What You Will Bring Functional Financial Expertise: Deep understanding of Microsoft D365 F&SCM modules, especially Finance (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit and Collections, Cash and Bank Management, Budgeting, Fixed Assets, Expense Management). Experience: At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft D365 F&SCM or Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 implementations and support. Experience in Demand Forecasting, Master Planning, Warehouse Management, Expense Management, Multi-company, Project Accounting, and Financial Management is highly valued. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze and translate financial business requirements into processes and solutions, emphasizing out-of-the-box functionality over heavy configuration.Project Experience: Knowledge of project scoping, analysis, estimation, and post-live training and support to inform and build implementation projects or enhancement streams. Documentation Skills: Strong skills in creating and maintaining detailed system architecture, design specifications, and user requirements documentation.Communication Skills: Excellent ability to interact with and build relationships with internal teams, clients, product owners, project managers, end users, and the wider D365 team. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve client issues, whether process-driven, technical, or functional.Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Finance Functional Consultant (MB-310) and Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant (MB-330) are highly beneficial.
