Paint&Decorator Team Member, Hamilton

We are seeking an enthusiastic&fun team player to join our friendly Decorator team at Mitre10 MEGA Taupo. We're passionate about our customers and have a store that values its people. We are looking for candidates that can deliver excellent customer service to our DIY and trade customers and assist them in finding the right products to meet their needs.This role is within our Colour Centre, which includes electrical, storage, and flooring products. If transforming a space or surface with colour is your passion, then your destination is our Paint&Decorating department. This department offers paints, stains, oils, and all the accessories needed for painting or decorating projects. Your knowledge or interest in this area will help you succeed. Your daily duties will vary from customer service, mixing paint, replenishing shelves, merchandising new products, and more.We are looking for someone who has: Enthusiasm and team spirit; Enjoys interacting with people and is customer-focused; Ability to manage a varied and busy workload; Physical fitness, as some heavy lifting is required; Strong organisational skills with the ability to think ahead and offer innovative solutions;A willingness to learn; and Excellent communication skills. Previous retail experience and/or experience within this industry will be viewed favourably. This is a full-time role, which will include working one day over the weekend.
