Job Overview: The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) will provide Basic Life Support (BLS) services to patients. Opportunities to advance from BLS to ALS with our Training Center Free CEUs and ABC cores for recertification Part-time options available with full benefits World-class work experience for all employeesQualifications: Required: Must be 18 years of age High School Graduate or GED Current Driver's License and valid vehicle insurance EMT Certification from NJ, NY, PA, or National Registry American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR) Hazmat Awareness Certification ICS 100, 200, and NIMS 700, 800Weapons of Mass Destruction or CBRNE Awareness training Preferred: PHTLS/ITLS Associate Degree Certifications and Licenses: EMT Certification from NJ, NY, PA, or National Registry CPR (BLS) certification Hazmat Awareness Certification ICS 100, 200, and NIMS 700, 800 Weapons of Mass Destruction or CBRNE Awareness trainingEssential Functions: Maintain professionalism, dignity, and compassion Effective communication skills in English Report maintenance or supply issues to supervisor Immediate reporting of unusual circumstances Provide treatment according to protocols Operate department vehicles per laws and policiesComplete required continuing education and documentation Interact professionally with all stakeholders Perform routine safety and compliance duties Other duties as assigned Scheduling Requirements: Per Diem: 10 shifts availability, work 6 in 3 months, including holidays and weekends, within home region.Part-Time: 2 shifts/week, 24 hours/week, including weekends. Full-Time: 3 shifts/week, rotating schedule, 36 hours/week.
