Compliance Supervisor, Hastings

We’re looking for a Compliance Supervisor to join our team full-time.What you’ll be doing As the Compliance Supervisor, you will support the day-to-day operations of the business to ensure all areas of Meateor are compliant and meet our regulatory, customer, and safe work requirements. You will bring knowledge of quality and process management, ensuring the Hastings plantdelivers a high level of compliance. This role is hands-on and based in the Hastings factory, which operates Tuesday to Saturday.Your key responsibilities will include: Delivering our critical compliance procedures Supporting the Production Supervisor to achieve daily and weekly compliance Monitoring and verifying process records, documents, and tasks as required by the Risk Management Programme Promoting a positive Health, Safety, and Wellbeing culture across the businessEnsuring compliance with Meateor, Ministry for Primary Industries, and overseas countries’ (OMAR) food safety systems and regulations Supporting preparation for audits What you’ll bring: Experience in delivering processes to a high level of compliance Ability to interpret regulations and legislation into business practicesKnowledge of the Meat/Pet food industry is an advantage Experience managing quality control and verification processes HACCP training and understanding of a Risk Management Programme is an advantage Intermediate computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft 365 Suite Systematic, detail-oriented, with high accuracyProfessional communication skills, excellent time management, and organizational abilities Right to work in New Zealand and ability to pass pre-employment checks Who we are Meateor processes and distributes high-quality New Zealand meat ingredients to the pet food industry worldwide.
