This role belongs to the New Zealand Resident Doctors’ Association and Te Whatu Ora (Health New Zealand) Collective Agreement and Specialty Trainees of New Zealand (STONZ) and Te Whatu Ora (Health New Zealand) Collective Agreement.About the Team/Service/Location We have a team of eight specialists, nine registrars, and seven house officers based at Southland Hospital. About You Our ideal candidate will have: Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand or be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. You can check your eligibility for registration by visiting the Council’s website at .A minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience, and a keen interest in providing acute and elective surgical care to our community. It is a requirement of the Medical Council of New Zealand that your qualifications are approved through EPIC.
