Listing Details Location: Southland, New Zealand Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Job Description OneStaff is seeking experienced Painting Trades Workers across the Southland region. The role involves preparing and applying paint, plaster, epoxy, and polyurethane coatings, among other duties. Flexibility to work in various locations nationwide is preferred.Prepare and operate on-site equipment such as scaffolding and ladders. Prepare surfaces by scraping, washing, filling, and removing old paint. Sandblast and water blast concrete and metal surfaces. Read blueprints and determine material and tool requirements. Apply sealers and solvents to various surfaces.Repair chips, holes, and cracks effectively. Mix paints and additives, and apply finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprays. Maintain a clean workspace and adhere to health and safety standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Compensation and Hours Hourly rate: $30.00 - $35.00 depending on experienceGuaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week. Candidate Requirements At least 2.5 years of relevant experience or a relevant qualification. Reliable, motivated, and good time management skills. Flexibility to work across multiple locations nationwide. Commitment to health and safety practices.NZ Citizen/Resident or valid NZ work visa required.
