Consultant Psychiatrists - Older Persons Southland Hospital Salary: ASMS MECA 2022 (NZD 170,369 - 250,560) About The Role Our Community Mental Health Teams provide specialist mental health services for adults with significant mental illnesses. Responsibilities include assessment, treatment, and collaboration with primary health sectors. A focus on service user and family/whānau inclusion, recovery, and biculturalism is essential. Clinical leadership and participation in team functions are pivotal. Opportunities are available in Community Mental Health, Inpatient Care, or Older Persons services.About You You are a qualified psychiatrist with experience in older persons' mental health, committed to high standards, teamwork, and professional development. You must provide clinical leadership, have a commitment to service user and family/whānau inclusion, and understand biculturalism. Fellowship with RANZCP or equivalent and eligibility for NZ Medical Council registration are required.
