We’re looking for skilled tradespeople to join busy, innovative workshops in Hawke’s Bay – offering competitive pay, long-term opportunities, and a supportive team environment.What You’ll Be Doing: You’ll use your technical expertise across a range of tasks including: Studying drawings/specifications to determine materials, machining methods, and sequence of operations Operating CNC machines, lathes, mills, and other metalworking tools Assembling and fitting metal components into machines and equipmentConducting precision checks using measurement instruments Maintaining and repairing machinery and mechanical parts Diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance Potential site-based machinery erection and setup What We’re Looking For: Minimum 3+ years' relevant experience Trade qualification preferred (or equivalent experience)Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using precision tools Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Your own tools and reliable transport Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test Two work references Class 1 driver’s license preferred but not essential Commitment to workplace Health&Safety What You’ll Get in Return: Competitive pay: $30–$40 per hour (based on experience) Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week Variety of challenging and interesting work Opportunity to grow with long-term, stable employment A great lifestyle in Hawke’s Bay About Us: Tradestaff is a proudly Kiwi-owned recruitment company with over 25 years of experience placing skilled tradespeople into jobs across New Zealand.
