Diagnose and Troubleshoot : Identify and resolve electrical issues promptly through systematic analysis and effective problem-solving techniques, particularly with three-phase motors and protection sensors.Industrial Automation Integration : Install and maintain automation systems to improve operational efficiency and safety, including working with PLCs, VSDs, and RTU systems. Flow and Pressure Sensor Installation : Install, configure, and maintain industrial flow and pressure sensors, ensuring accurate measurements for process monitoring and control systems.Three-Phase Power Systems : Install and maintain three-phase power systems for industrial applications. Electrical Safety Systems : Configure and implement electrical safety systems, including emergency stops and lockout systems. Industrial Networking : Implement and maintain industrial networking infrastructure for control systems.Electrical Upgrades and Modifications : Implement system upgrades and modifications to enhance performance and reliability. Work with CAD Designs : Interpret and work from CAD designs and electrical schematics, contributing to accurate and efficient project execution. Commissioning : Carry out commissioning tasks, including system testing, start-up, and performance validation to ensure systems operate as designed. This includes troubleshooting and fine-tuning for optimal efficiency.Safety and Compliance : Ensure all work meets safety standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate and Communicate : Work closely with other team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure efficient project completion. Assist in Other Areas : Support overall business operations by helping in different service areas as required to meet team and customer needs.Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate records of work completed, including inspections, maintenance logs, test results, photo documentation, and inventory management. Continuous Learning and Improvement : Actively participate in team knowledge sharing and contribute ideas to enhance business procedures.What We're Looking For NZ Registered Electrician with valid certification and relevant industry experience. Proven experience in industrial electrical systems preferred, though we offer training to further develop specialised skills for candidates with demonstrated potential. Strong diagnostic abilities with experience troubleshooting three-phase motors, protection sensors, and industrial electrical equipment.Practical knowledge of Industrial Automation including exposure to PLCs, sensors, and control systems. Further training provided to enhance these specialised capabilities. Competent with Electrical Schematics and able to interpret technical drawings, with additional support available to develop advanced skills.Self-motivated professional with the ability to manage your own workflow, prioritise tasks effectively, and work independently when required. Strong commitment to Quality Workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Experienced Team Player who thrives in a collaborative environment, communicates effectively, and contributes positively to team objectives.Good Communication Skills for productive interaction with team members and clients.
