We are hard-working, down-to-earth, and passionate engineers and geologists who provide quality geotechnical site investigation, analysis, and design advice to the construction, infrastructure, and energy sectors.Our Napier office is looking to hire a Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist with 2+ years of experience working in a geotechnical consultancy. Specifically, we seek an all-rounder engineer/geologist capable of conducting fieldwork, communicating with contractors, drafting geotechnical reports, producing quality and HSE documentation, and assisting in project management. Our small Napier team is supported by our Tauranga and Rotorua offices. You should be comfortable working independently at times and reaching out for assistance when needed.What You'll Need A Civil Engineering, Geology, or Earth Science Degree 2+ years experience in a geotechnical consultancy At least 2 years experience in New Zealand A full New Zealand driver's license Good interpersonal skills with a wide range of people Exceptional organization and communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to work alone at times What You'll Get Additional Day Leave on Your Birthday $500 annual well-being allowance Provision of a minimum of 50 hours of Training / CPD per year and paid membership to Engineers New Zealand Office social events throughout the year Flexible office hours Ongoing internal project management and technical training#J-18808-Ljbffr
