Thisfacility is located in a beautiful villa in Nelson and offers 24-hour care. We support individualsexperiencing mentalhealth distress that prevents them from staying in their home environment and youwill play a vital role in providing short-term crisis respite support.The shift is Sunday toThursday 11am to 7:30am in Nelson. A meal is provided for overnight awakestaff. You’ll also: Focusingon the individuals needs and providing culturally safe practice Relevantadministrative tasks, comprehensive notes and effective handover, andsupporting and collaborating with your colleaguesYou’llneed to be prepared to support our clients to do whatever it takes using arecovery model Whilstthe whai ora you support are sleeping you will complete tasks such as cleaningand maintaining things like filing, first aid kits, emergency kits andpreparation of paperwork. About You | Mōu For this role, you must hold a Level 4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (oran equivalent qualification or be currently working towards it). To checkequivalency goto should also have the ability to provide medication support with meticulousattention to detail. Additionally, you’ll align with our commitment to arecovery-focused approach.You’ll have: NewZealand Certificate Level 4 in Health and Wellbeing (or a recognisedequivalent, or currently studying towards it). Somemental health experience is needed Afull New Zealand drivers licence Youmust hold a current comprehensive first aid certificate or be willing toobtain one.Applicants must have the right towork in New Zealand.
