Salary $80-100k (salary depends on your experience and expertise), biannual profit share, RRSP contributions, training allowance, professional dues, signing and staying bonuses, 5 weeks vacation, gear allowance, health and wellness account, relocation expenses, and access to company trucks.Roles and Responsibilities Project managing our current forest planning and operations business lines. We prefer candidates to be more of a Project Manager and Mentor than a Senior Technician, focusing on timelines, logistics, and mentoring the crew in the office to complete deliverables. Field time will primarily involve mentoring both new hires and senior technicians on challenging terrain. As with most PM roles, you will develop project plans, manage safety, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations. A key aspect of your role will be creating, growing, and mentoring your team.You will also assist with new business development initiatives and expanding existing business lines. This position suits someone with an entrepreneurial spirit and a diverse background in forest planning and operations. You will oversee projects ranging from multiphase layout and engineering to wildfire planning and operational supervision. Our clients include major Licensees such as KLC, Atco, Interfor, and BCTS. We also serve other Ministry of Forests departments and local community forests including SIFCO, Harrop Proctor, and NACFOR, which we manage.
