Ocean Spray is now hiring a Machinist Maintenance Technician at the Middleboro facility. About the Facility: This 600,000 square foot processing plant has 3 production lines and can produce up to 80 million pounds of Sweetened Dried Cranberries (Craisins) annually, accounting for over 30% of Ocean Spray's North American volume, operated by approximately 200 team members.Position Details: The role involves installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of processing and packaging equipment. The position requires adherence to quality, safety, attendance, and work rules. Shift and Compensation: This is a 12-hour rotating shift from 6 pm to 6 am, with rotating weekends off. Compliance with quality, safety, attendance, and work rules is required.Candidate Requirements: Excellent attendance and reliability Manufacturing experience or mechanical aptitude is a plus Ability to work overtime Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical blueprints and drawings Experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systemsProficiency with machinist's hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and machine shop equipment Ability to operate, maintain, and perform routine maintenance on equipment (pumps, seals, gearboxes, etc.) Sheet metal fabrication skills for projects and repairs Effective communication with service technicians, R&D, quality, and engineering teams Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Knowledge of metal properties and selection of replacement parts for plant equipment Welding skills with TIG, MIG, stick, and brazing Experience troubleshooting packaging equipment Plumbing and pipefitting experienceWho We Are: Ocean Spray is a cooperative owned by 700 family farmers.
