Ocean Spray is now hiring a Machinist Maintenance Technician at the Middleboro facility. About the Facility: This 600,000 square foot processing plant has 3 production lines and can produce up to 80 million pounds per year of Sweetened Dried Cranberries (Craisins). This volume accounts for more than 30% of Ocean Spray's North American production and employs approximately 200 team members.Position Details: The Machinist Maintenance Technician position involves installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of processing and packaging equipment. The role requires adherence to all quality, safety, attendance, and work-rule requirements. Team members must comply with all quality, safety, attendance, and work-rule requirements.Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Manufacturing experience or mechanical aptitude is a plus. Ability to work overtime. Ability to read, interpret, and apply electrical and mechanical blueprints and drawings. Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical or mechanical systems as required.Use of machinist's hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and maintenance of equipment. Operate, maintain, and perform routine maintenance on process and facility equipment (pumps, seals, gearboxes, etc.). Sheet metal fabrication skills for projects, repairs, and improvements. Ability to communicate effectively with Service Technicians, R&D, Quality, and Engineering teams. Additional Qualifications: Knowledge of metal properties and selection of replacement parts. Welding skills including TIG, MIG, stick, and brazing. Troubleshooting and diagnostic experience with packaging equipment.
