This facility is located in a beautiful villa in Nelson and offers 24-hour care. We support individuals experiencing mental health distress that prevents them from staying in their home environment, and you will play a vital role in providing short-term crisis respite support.The shift is Tuesday to Saturday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, in Nelson. You’ll also: Focus on the individual's needs and provide culturally safe practice Complete relevant administrative tasks, comprehensive notes, effective handovers, and support and collaborate with colleagues Support clients to do whatever it takes using a recovery modelPerform tasks such as cleaning, maintaining filing systems, first aid kits, emergency kits, and preparing paperwork About You | Mōu To be suitable for this role, you must hold a Level 4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (or an equivalent qualification or be currently working towards it). Check equivalency here: . You should also have the ability to support medication administration with meticulous attention to detail. Additionally, you’ll align with our recovery-focused approach.You’ll have: New Zealand Certificate Level 4 in Health and Wellbeing (or a recognized equivalent, or currently studying towards it) Some mental health experience A full New Zealand driver’s license A current comprehensive first aid certificate or willingness to obtain one The right to work inNew Zealand (this role is not supported under the AEWV)Closing date: 1 June 2025.
