Team Leader (Part Time) - Parkland School, Motueka - Tasman Permanent, Part Time Position + Wellness Plan + EAP Services Competitive Wage + Discounted Goods&Services + Employee Value Proposition Join our dedicated team at Parkland School as a Team Leader in Motueka, Tasman , where you'll support the safe and efficient receiving, reheating, dispatching, and preparation of meals in accordance with the MOE contract. This role offers the chance to lead daily operations and ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality. This is a Permanent Part Time position during the education terms.Responsibilities: Administration Support: Lead daily coordination of delivery schedules, receive stock, and manage special diet requirements. Operational Activities: Assist the Area Manager with daily operational tasks and maintain administrative records. Financial Transactions: Highlight supplier issues, assist with month-end procedures, and prepare paperwork for audits.Team Leadership: Communicate effectively, lead and work in a team, and provide quality customer service. System Proficiency: Develop proficiency in Compass Group systems for record keeping and efficient operations. Experience: Proven experience in a kitchen or food manufacturing environment. Customer Service: Superior customer service skills and ability to work autonomously.Team Player: Flexible approach, great communication skills, and ability to lead a team. Technical Skills: Computer literate with the ability to use IT systems for ordering and stock management. Physical Fitness: Physically fit and able to lift and pack raw ingredients and finished products.
