Senior Medical Specialists to work in Intensive Care at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Nelson Marlborough, Nelson Hospital Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, Nelson Marlborough seeks three experienced Senior Medical officers to work in our Intensive Care Unit at Nelson Hospital - 3x Permanent part time 0.75FTE (60 hours a fortnight)Join a team of talented individuals who work together to make a positive difference Make a lifestyle choice - live and work in one of the most beautiful regions Nelson hospital, Nelson, New Zealand The successful candidates will Join a team of 2 Anaesthetists with Intensive Care skills and 2 Intensivists.Participate in an Intensive Care daytime roster and an Intensive Care after-hours 1:7 on call roster. Respond swiftly and effectively to emergency situations and provide expert medical care to critical patients in the intensive care unit. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.Ko wai he kaitono tōtika ? (Who is an appropriate applicant?) The ideal candidates will Bring clinical expertise to a smaller provincial hospital and enjoy the lifestyle the region has to offer. Have essential senior experience in providing Intensive Care for patients with acute, severe, and life-threatening conditions.Be Anaesthetists with ICU expertise; however, all SMOs with ICU experience will also be considered. Be eligible for an Annual Practicing Certificate with relevant vocational scope with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
