These positions are suitable for PGY2 and above and commence in January 2026. There are numerous roles within different specialties, including relief (covering all specialties).As a Senior House Officer, you will assess and admit all admissions, perform physical examinations, implement treatment plans, maintain clinical records, and attend weekly meetings, among other responsibilities. The working hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm daily, with long days from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Night shifts run from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) are from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm or 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Admission shifts are from 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm.The available rotations include O&G Diploma, Paediatric Diploma, Emergency, Psychiatry, Psychogeriatrics, Community (Urgent Care, Hospice, GP, GP Rural, Community Psychiatry), Relief, plus General Surgery, Surgical/Vascular, Orthopaedics, General Medicine, Geriatrics, Cardiology, Gynaecology/Ophthalmology, and ENT/Urology, if available.About the Team/Service/Location Our team of 50 House Officers and 120 RMOs work together to provide team-based services to the patients of Nelson Marlborough.
