These positions are suitable for PGY2 and above and commence in January 2026. There are numerous roles within different specialties including relief (covering all specialties).As a Senior House Officer, you will assess and admit all admissions, perform physical examinations, implement treatment plans, maintain clinical records, and attend weekly meetings, among other duties. The hours are 8.00am to 4.00pm daily, with long days from 4.00pm to 10.00pm. Night shifts are from 10.00pm to 8.00am. Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) are from 8.00am to 10.00pm or 8.00am to 4.00pm. Admission shifts are from 2.30pm to 10.30pm.The available rotations include O&G Diploma, Paediatric Diploma, Emergency, Psychiatry, Psychogeriatrics, Community (Urgent Care, Hospice, GP, GP Rural, Community Psychiatry), Relief, plus if available, General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Orthopaedics, General Medicine, Geriatrics, Cardiology, Gynaecology/Ophthalmology, and ENT/Urology.About the Team/Service/Location Our team of 50 House Officers and 120 RMOs work together to provide team-based services to the patients of Nelson Marlborough.
