About the Role As a Theatre/ Sterile Services Technician, you will be working with sterilising andprocessing reusable instruments and equipmentfor the operating theatres and other hospital departments, as well as assistingnursing teams with patient transportation, theatre cleaning and equipmentprovision.Work closely with clinical teams to meetequipment needs and ensure timely availability of sterilised items. Perform decontamination, inspection,packaging, and sterilisation of medical instruments and equipment according tohospital protocols and infection control standards. Conduct thorough checks on all steriliseditems to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and readiness for use in patientcare.This is a permanent, part-time role working 54 hours perfortnight (0.6 FTE), Monday to Friday on a flexible, rostered and rotatingshift cycle. There will be on-call as required.
