Patients may be admitted directly from the community or transferred from acute wards. About the Team/Location Te Whatu Ora (Nelson Marlborough) is the main health provider for Te Tau Ihu, the top of the South. Nearly 3,000 staff work here; we are Nelson and Marlborough’s largest employer. Our main locations include Nelson and Wairau Hospitals, and the Richmond and Marlborough Health Hubs, but we are spread across the region, serving all parts of the community.The AT&R Assessment Treatment and Rehabilitation Ward is a 20-bed unit located at Level 1 of the Percy Brunette Block building of Nelson Hospital. We have a high-functioning multidisciplinary team of Geriatricians, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Speech-Language Therapists, and Dieticians.We value integrity, innovation, respect, and teamwork, and strive to make a difference through our supportive environment.
