Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the Role We are seeking a New Zealand Registered Dietitian to work within our small, diverse department based at Nelson Hospital. This is a casual position, working on an as-required basis to cover planned and unplanned leave across inpatient wards, outpatient clinics, and community visiting. The role will cater to clients requiring secondary care services for a wide variety of conditions. You may also be called on to provide similar cover from the Wairau site.About the Team/Service/Location Our team of 13 Dietitians services all parts of the community across Nelson and Wairau Hospitals, and the Richmond and Marlborough Health Hubs. Our work is diverse and challenging, but we have a great team and work hard to make a difference. For more information on living and working in Nelson, click here.About You As a Dietitian, you will: Be a NZ Registered Dietitian with a current Annual Practising Certificate, Have at least two years of comprehensive hospital-based clinical or generalist experience, Have experience in a variety of adult nutrition interventions and be comfortable providing ward-based paediatric interventions and education,Be flexible to work the hours as required. The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
