We have recently added a planer to our Machine Shed, and with a robust production pipeline, we are seeking an experienced and qualified Timber Machinist to join our team.Our planers handle a range of product lines with frequent changeovers, providing operators with a diverse work environment. Responsibilities include: Setting up and operating machines. Meeting quality standards and productivity targets. Performing maintenance and troubleshooting on machines. Completing accurate documentation.Assisting with toolroom operations as needed. Applicants must have a trade qualification in timber machining and significant experience operating planer machinery. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 5am to 3pm, totaling 47.5 hours per week. Our culture emphasizes camaraderie, recognition, and support for qualifications such as NZQA.
