We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to contribute to our team's success.Our ideal candidate is a process-minded individual with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a solution-driven, can-do attitude who adapts well to change. Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment is preferable. This is a full-time position with a minimum of 40 hours of work per week. Shift work may be required.Responsibilities Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and components Forecast stock and raw material requirements Manage inventory levels and optimize stock through effective control Conduct stock takes and monitor inventory consumption Handle purchasing and procurement activitiesReceipt of inwards goods Assist with production scheduling and weekly production plans Manage and action MRP to meet production demands Assist with dispatch of finished goods Maintain customer and supplier relationships Track and analyze supply chain metrics to identify improvements Coordinate with logistics providers for efficient transportationResolve supply chain issues promptly and communicate effectively Continuously improve supply chain procedures for efficiency Perform administrative and warehousing duties as required Skills and Experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in supply chain management software and Microsoft OfficeAttention to detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize Experience in a supply chain role within manufacturing (desired) Knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management, and logistics (desired) Strong numerical and computer skills Right to work in New Zealand Current New Zealand Driver License and own vehicleForklift Driver License and experience (desired) How do your skills match this job?
