Flexibility to work across various locations in New Zealand is preferred.The Trades Assistant will be responsible for: Reading electrical layouts to determine appropriate systems and ensure compliance with electrical and fire codes Installing and testing electrical systems for proper operation Repairing system issues and replacing defective parts Working within guidelines set by supervisors to meet project timelines, budgets, and quality standardsMonitoring work progress and communicating delays or issues to supervisors Conducting quality inspections according to policies and procedures Understanding and adhering to safety policies, seeking advice when necessary Participating as a team member within the marine and wider organization Performing any other duties as assignedPay conditions: Min $26.00/hr, Max $30.00/hr Hours of work: Minimum 30 hours guaranteed Skills and experience required: Ideally one-year relevant experience or NZQF Level 1 qualification (not compulsory) Friendly demeanor, good time management, and strong work ethic Commitment to learning and industry skill developmentKnowledge of health and safety procedures Reliable and hardworking Note: This role may require working in multiple locations across New Zealand.
