About the Role We are seeking experienced senior mental health practitioners and leaders for our new Rehabilitation Coordinator role. This position involves operationalising and delivering a therapeutic group programme at our rehabilitation centre, focusing on social&vocational skills, medication self-management, healthy lifestyles, self-regulation, mindfulness, and cultural connectedness. Once established, the role will also oversee the residential component, delivering a four-bedded rehabilitation whare for whai ora requiring intensive residential rehabilitation.Please click here to view the position description About the Team/Service/Location For more information on living and working in Taranaki, click here. About You Successful candidates will be: Health practitioners with current APCs and scope of practice in mental health and addiction services (Occupational Therapist, Registered Nurse, Social Worker);Having 5+ years’ experience in acute and/or community mental health and/or addiction services, preferably with strong rehabilitation expertise; Experienced in leading or managing clinical teams and establishing successful services; Possessing excellent clinical knowledge and the ability to provide psychoeducation to whai ora, whanau, and healthcare providers;Capable of working under pressure, demonstrating leadership, and contributing positively to service delivery.
