About the Role We are seeking an inspirational Clinical Team Leader with a strong alcohol and other substance addiction clinical background to manage our Alcohol and Other Drugs Team within the Mental Health&Addiction Services. About the Team/Service/Location You will be primarily accountable for managing our counselling, allied health, nursing, and administration teams, ensuring safe clinical care practice standards and the best care outcomes. For more information on living and working in Taranaki, click here.About you Successful candidates will be: Health practitioners with current APCs and scope of practice to enable working in mental health and addiction services (AOD Counsellor, Occupational Therapist, Registered Nurse, Social Worker); 5+ years’ experience in community-based mental health and/or addiction services with excellent addiction specialty knowledge and impeccable practice standards;Demonstrate a motivational leadership style and be able to build a cohesive team and facilitate service development; Ability to work under pressure, be a good team player, demonstrate leadership skills, and positively contribute to service delivery; Adept at developing strong working relationships within specialist Mental Health&Addiction Services as well as NGO and primary stakeholders; Excellent interpersonal skills, a commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and a whanau ora/whānau-focused approach.
