More Opportunities: We have other clients and roles across the region too The Role As a Health Care Assistant, you'll work closely with rangatahi (youth) aged 12 to 17 who are experiencing acute mental health challenges. The service provides a bicultural approach to care, integrating Kaupapa Māori frameworks alongside mainstream clinical models. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, and cultural staff, all working collaboratively to support the well-being and recovery of the young people in care.Available Shifts Morning: 7:00am - 3:30pm Afternoon: 2:30pm - 11:00pm Night: 10:45pm - 7:15am Orientation: 1-2 days before you start What We're Looking For Youth-Focused: Comfortable and confident working with adolescents Engaged: Willing to get involved in activities with the young peopleCulturally Aware: Open to both Māori and mainstream care approaches Reliable&Caring: Compassionate, approachable, and a great team player Experienced: Able to support those with mental health and addiction needs Ready to make a difference?
