Job Description The Ministry of Education is seeking a Lead Adviser to support regional learning support practices across Nelson, Blenheim, or Greymouth offices. This is a permanent, full-time position. Responsibilities include: Providing guidance to staff to ensure quality and consistent learning support through Managers Integrated Services, Service Managers, and Learning Support Specialists.Establishing yourself as a knowledgeable source of information and support for He Pikorua. Empowering others to use data and insights to improve learner outcomes. Utilizing regional data to address performance metrics. Driving the implementation of national Learning Support practices, processes, and systems.Informing stakeholders of relevant policy or priority changes affecting practice. About you - Mōhou ake You will have: A relevant tertiary qualification. A full, clean New Zealand driver's license. Additionally, you will offer: Five or more years of experience in providing specialist learning support services or a related field.Strong knowledge of supporting children and young people with learning needs. Experience leading practice changes at individual and system levels. Credibility with colleagues and managers.
