Build strong relationships, and collaborate with councillors, elected members, and the wider council team. Cultivating strong relationships will be key to your success.Oversee election processes, manage electoral responsibilities, oversee the delivery of post-election support, and undertake the role of deputy electoral officer. Provide trusted advice to ensure compliance with relevant legislative requirements (LGA, LGOIMA and the Electoral Act) and offer strategic guidance.You'll Be Someone With Proven management experience to lead and operate at both strategic and operational levels. Your ability to lead and operate at both a strategic and operational level will be key to this position. Local government knowledge: a strong understanding of LGA, LGOIMA and the Electoral Act is a plus. Ideally, you will bring local government or management experience or come from a senior governance advisory role.Collaborative spirit that helps you thrive in a team environment and build strong relationships.
