This is an office-based role offering a great opportunity to lead meaningful change within an established organisation.Following a recent external review, the business is now focused on refining and strengthening its approach to risk. Your role will be to lead the implementation of key recommendations— reviewing current risk practices, updating documentation, and embedding effective processes that will stand the test of time.Key areas of focus: Conducting a thorough evaluation of current risks across the organisation Redesigning the risk register and ensuring it reflects the latest business activities and controls Creating clear, practical risk management policies and procedures Enhancing risk reporting tools and governance structuresWorking closely with senior stakeholders to ensure accountability and clarity across the risk landscape Making sure all updates align with regulatory expectations and support the long-term resilience of the business To be successful, you’ll need a solid track record in risk management within financial services, plus the confidence to lead independently, identify what needs fixing, and put effective solutions in place.The client is ready to move quickly and needs someone who can make an impact from day one.
