Business Unit: DLF Research&Development Location: Lincoln, NZ, 7676 PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER DLF R&D OCEANIA DLF is a global seed cooperative headquartered in Denmark with PGG Wrightson Seeds as a subsidiary in New Zealand and DLF Seeds in Australia. We service local and international markets, encompassing all facets of the seed market, from research and development through to seed supply and on-farm support.We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Product Development Manager for DLF Research&Development to serve as the critical bridge between our R&D team and the PGGWS&DLF Seeds commercial business in Oceania. This role ensures that our product pipeline across all segments is aligned with business priorities, new products are presented with relevant and robust data and supports the global utilisation of our product portfolio. With your deep knowledge about our products and markets and strong connection to our commercial teams and R&D colleagues you are a trusted and valued partner to both departments. Key Responsibilities: Ensure the relevant product development trials across Oceania and work with our trials excellence team to ensure high trial quality delivering robust data. Validate the quality of the data packages before it is presented by the breeders to the commercial team.Facilitate the information flow between R&D and the commercial business, ensuring that product development activities are commercially relevant and based on insights from our business and the market. Ensure successful product advancement and commercialisation decisions based on product needs assessments from the commercial team and product presentations from the breeders.What We Are Looking For: A relevant Agricultural science degree and experience in forage and/or turf agronomy. 5+ years of experience in product development, R&D, or technical roles in agriculture or seed industry. Strong understanding of field trials, data analysis, forage and turf market needs and product life cycle. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across disciplines and cultures. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects forward in a matrixed environment.Travel in New Zealand and Australia as well as international travel is required to perform this role.
