About the role We are a busy secondary care maternity unit overseeing 1250 births per annum, with a full range of secondary obstetric services. Your responsibilities include: Provision of clinical midwifery services in accordance with the Midwifery Council scope of practice Providing primary and secondary maternity services as part of our interdisciplinary clinical teamsMaintaining clinical skills in line with organisational best practice guidelines Participating in continuous quality improvement activities About you Current New Zealand Registration and Annual Practising Certificate in Midwifery Recent clinical experience in midwifery practice Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with all stakeholdersCommitment to being a team player About the Team/Service/Location Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Lakes provides healthcare from its two modern general hospitals in Rotorua and Taupo.
