Through close collaboration with each individual, you'll develop and deliver personalized care plans that address their unique physical, emotional, and social needs. Your dedication will not only enhance their daily living but also promote dignity, confidence, and overall well-being—helping them thrive every step of the way.Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized care plans Monitor client progress and provide timely updates Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and hygiene Provide support with toileting and bowel management Aid clients with mobility and the use of assistive equipmentAssist clients in managing their medication regimen Encourage and support clients in maintaining their independence Help with meal preparation and feeding when necessary Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records while ensuring effective communication with the care team Foster strong relationships with clients and their familiesFacilitate clear and effective communication for clients with diverse needs What We're Looking For: A strong passion for empowering clients to live fulfilling and independent lives At least 6 months of professional experience in complex care Level 4 Healthcare qualification or equivalent (preferred)Self-motivated, dependable, adaptable, and punctual Culturally aware with sensitivity to diverse backgrounds Excellent communication skills, with a high proficiency in English A valid NZ driver's license and the ability to travel across the Bay of Plenty Experience in bowel care and a willingness to assist with physiotherapy exercisesFlexibility to work rostered shifts, including weekends What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate of $28.25, in addition to travel time and mileage reimbursement Supportive and collaborative team environment Flexibility and variety within the role Ongoing training and opportunities for professional developmentComprehensive orientation program to ensure a smooth transition into the role Make a Difference in Your Community!
