Coordinating and conducting intake/admission processes upon acceptance of referrals. Developing wellness safety assessment plans for residents. Conducting resident reviews at appropriate intervals.Supporting or leading clinical handovers to ensure staff are fully informed of resident needs. Attending discharge planning and multidisciplinary meetings as required. Presenting on behalf of Lifewise Rotorua to external stakeholders when needed. Leading monthly Quality meetings, investigating, and reporting on Quality matters.Managing medication processes, including policy updates, audits, and competencies. Conducting Internal Audits as scheduled. Completing monthly activity reports. Coordinating meetings involving clinical care and support for clients. Understanding the position of Māori as the tangata whenua and commitment to the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi, applying the articles of Te Tiriti within Lifewise's context.Promoting a culture where health and safety are integral to success through planning, delivery, monitoring, and review. What Skills&Experience You Need Excellent relationship and communication skills (verbal, written, and computer literacy) Knowledge of tikanga me te reo Māori and experience working within a kaupapa Māori service preferred Patience, creativity, flexibility, compassion, and sensitivity to persons with mental health issues, addictions, cognitive impairments, and physical health concernsSignificant experience working with individuals with mental health issues, substance abuse, and trauma Qualification in a clinical or community specialty (e.g., social work, nursing, psychology, psychiatry, occupational therapy, counselling, social sciences, law, community development) At least 2 years of clinical experience with proven leadership in the Mental Health&Addictions sector Current Annual Practising Certificate as per discipline Full Class Drivers’ License - Preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
