About the Location Our department includes Paediatricians with a wide variety of sub-specialty interests, from neonatal to community paediatrics, mental health, and a supportive team of specialist nurses and visiting sub-specialists.Lakes is located in the central North Island of New Zealand - Aotearoa. Rotorua is approximately 230 km southeast of Auckland, and Taupō is about 80 km south of Rotorua. Lakes is a geothermal area with scenic lakes, including Lake Taupō, New Zealand's largest lake. About You You will have: MCNZ registration or be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand. Check eligibility at .
