Job Role Overview This is a key role in the success of our store, where you will ensure that all property, merchandise, monies, and personnel are kept in a safe and secure environment. Additionally, you will help protect the Mitre 10 MEGA image by delivering excellent customer service and acting in the best interests of the company at all times.Key Responsibilities Maintain team awareness of suspect‘customers’ through regular updates, including photographic evidence where available, and training. Apprehend shoplifters or deter potential thieves using appropriate techniques advised by the team and local community constable, without compromising safety.Liaise with local police and other retailers for updates and information exchange regarding known offenders in the area. Candidate Requirements While relevant work experience is preferred, the ideal candidate should be able to: Remain calm and composed under pressure. Be quick-minded, resilient, and resourceful.Be self-motivated. Maintain high integrity and honesty. Ensure customers have a fantastic shopping experience. Demonstrate positive and professional behavior at all times. Have a good level of physical fitness.
