Tauranga Girls’ College is a secondary school in Gate Pa with a roll of 1400 students. We are seeking a conscientious, energetic, motivated person experienced in general maintenance and grounds work to join our busy property team. The Groundsperson will take pride in maintaining the grounds and property of Tauranga Girls’ College, which includes but is not limited to, mowing, litter removal, gardening, maintenance of school vehicles and equipment, while always adhering to good Health and Safety practices.As a team member of our Property Team you will also be expected to assist with various maintenance projects and shifting work where a team approach is required. You will need to be fit, have a full drivers licence and you will be required to undergo a police check. The position is a permanent, full time position of 40 hours per week, and is in Grade 1 of the School Caretakers’, Cleaners’ and Canteen Staff Collective Agreement.
