You will collaborate with various teams to assess and select security technologies, embed best practices, and provide thought leadership on security architecture. Representing New Zealand in global security forums and governance groups, you must have strong communication and influencing skills. You will design, test, and implement security systems, working closely with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to enhance security posture and align with strategic goals.Responsibilities include: Translating strategic vision into actionable security architecture patterns for New Zealand. Providing thought leadership on security topics such as Zero Trust and identity management. Evaluating current technology landscapes, identifying gaps, and recommending solutions.Collaborating across teams to assess and select security technologies, ensuring best practices. Participating in architecture governance and security standards development. Leading security strategies and representing New Zealand in global forums. About You Proven expertise in security architecture, preferably in financial services or regulated sectors.Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to shape security strategy and influence decision-making. Deep understanding of security technologies and emerging threats. Experience designing and implementing security systems aligned with strategic plans. Analytical skills to assess environments and recommend solutions.Strong team management skills, with the ability to be hands-on when needed.
