Position: Repair Technician x 2 We are seeking 2 energetic Electronics Repair Technicians to join our team in Whanganui. This is a full-time, permanent position.Role and Responsibilities: Replace PCB components, including soldering and desoldering of through-hole and SMT components. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Carefully open electronic devices without causing damage. Research repair procedures as needed. Demonstrate knowledge and experience in hardware and software repairs for computers, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones.Diagnose software and hardware issues and provide appropriate solutions. Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems like Windows 10. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to identify root causes. Respond to customer inquiries both over the phone and in-store. Provide excellent customer service.Install and troubleshoot hardware and device drivers on client machines. Install and configure monitors, desktops, keyboards, printers, and other peripherals. Perform other relevant duties as assigned by management. Qualifications and Experience: Relevant qualification (Level 4 or higher) or 3+ years of relevant experience.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A clean driving license, as travel to customer homes may be required. Strong customer service skills. Organized, able to handle multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively. Availability to work on weekends, public holidays, and outside normal hours.Ability to pass drug and character checks. Working hours are a minimum of 30 hours and a maximum of 40 hours per week, typically from 8 am to 5 pm, with potential for outside hours when visiting customers. #J-18808-Ljbffr
