Salesforce’s Public Sector MuleSoft Solution Engineering team is seeking a dedicated and motivated solution engineer to join us. This role is crucial in driving growth and success within our government and not-for-profit sectors. You will be responsible for presenting Salesforce’s integration, analytics,and automation solutions to prospects and customers, managing all technical objections throughout the sales cycle. By conducting thorough discovery sessions with various stakeholders, you will identify specific business requirements and value drivers, making each project compelling and transformative. Collaborating with the extended sales team, you will help develop differentiated solutions, demonstrate them to customers, and address their questions and concerns. Building impactful relationships, you will aim to become a trusted advisor to your clients.What’s in it for you? What you’ll achieve: Engage with government and not-for-profit organizations to understand their challenges and goals through discovery sessions and workshops.Create and deliver customized product demonstrations. Present and communicate the business value of your solutions effectively to business managers and executives. Collaborate with your team, sharing knowledge and learning. Manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously. Be self-motivated, flexible, and proactive.Willingness to travel occasionally. What you’ll need to be successful: Excellent verbal and written communication skills focused on capturing requirements, developing solutions, and articulating business value. Outstanding presentation and demonstration skills with a storytelling approach. Ability to work collaboratively to solve business and technical challenges.Experience working across various industries, understanding their landscapes, challenges, and opportunities. New Zealand Citizenship is required due to the nature of this role. Preferred Skills: NZ Citizenship Experience in a pre-sales role. Industry experience in Federal and/or Not-For-Profit sectors.Experience with Integration and/or Data Solutions, MuleSoft experience preferred.
