Howmet Dover Alloy provides vacuum and air-melted nickel- and cobalt-based superalloys to aerospace, gas turbine, medical, and other high-tech industrial markets.Howmet Aerospace is seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to join our Alloy Facility located in Dover, New Jersey . Environmental Health&Safety Responsibilities Assist in implementing Howmet's EHS policies and principles. Comply with all EHS regulations. Wear required PPE. Report illnesses, injuries, safety, health, and environmental concerns promptly. Attend EHS training sessions. Job Roles Systems thinker, optimizer, anticipator, operational accelerator, organizer, influencer, data-informed, reactive, and relationship builder.Responsibilities: Create and commission industrial control systems, troubleshoot PLCs, mentor technicians and engineers. Conduct electrical studies and recommend upgrades. Document electrical systems for OEM equipment. Create ladder logic schematics. Order electrical components and support maintenance.Analyze plant processes for improvements. Adhere to quality and safety standards. Specify electrical devices. Manage control system upgrades and installations. Support internal and external projects. Read and interpret electrical schematics.
