Howmet Dover Alloy provides vacuum and air-melted nickel- and cobalt-based superalloys to aerospace, gas turbine, medical, and other high-tech industrial markets.We are currently seeking a Maintenance Repair A to join our Howmet Casting plant in Dover, New Jersey. The work hours for this weekend day shift are (Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM). Training will be on the day shift during weekdays (Monday - Friday 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM). Starting hourly rate: $34.75; after 12 months: $37.42$2500 Sign-on Bonus payable after 90 days of employment (for external candidates only). Essential Job Functions Assists Senior Maintenance in maintaining plant mechanical and building equipment. Installs piping and mechanical equipment as directed. Troubleshoots and repairs routine mechanical failures; acquires knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Assists in construction and repair of plant equipment. Maintains records as required. Performs duties of a B Maintenance Mechanic. Performs other duties as assigned. Maintains cleanliness and safety of work areas. EHS Requirements Supports implementation of EHS policies and principles. Complies with all safety and environmental regulations.Wears PPE and reports hazards or incidents.
