Northland Community Pre-School Wellington Early learning educator Part time, Fixed term, FTTE up to: 0.6, Start Date: 07/07/2025, End Date: 19/12/2025 (To cover whilst permanent appointment can be made ) Early learning / kōhanga reo, Certificated teacher Belonging / Mana Whenua, Contribution / Mana Tangata, Communication / Mana Reo, Exploration / Mana Aotūroa, Well-being / Mana AtuaOur not-for-profit community-owned and focused preschool is seeking a positive, enthusiastic, caring, qualified ECE teacher to join our friendly teaching team for three days per week (with the possibility of additional relieving as required). We strive to provide a calm, respectful and stimulating environment to support children’s learning through their play and relationships. We are licenced for up to 30 tamariki and welcome them from 15 months until the transition to primary school. We have a permanent teaching team of qualified ECE teachers and maintain a high kaiako-to-child ratio. The core hours are 7.45am to 4.15pm, but there must also be flexibility to meet the requirements of the day.
