Scientist: Scalable cryogenic magnetic memory for superconducting and quantum computing Lab/Company: Victoria University of Wellington The spintronics research group at Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington in Wellington, New Zealand, is hiring a Scientist to work on a 5-year programme to develop cryogenic magnetic memories from the rare-earth nitride series of magnetic semiconductors. The programme will involve both fundamental experimental and theoretical studies of thin film growth and the structural, magnetic, electronic, and spectroscopic properties of the rare-earth nitrides and their solid solutions. Responsibilities include fabricating and testing magnetic memory elements and integrating them with superconducting electronics.
