Join us today and broaden your skillset!This varied role may involve working on tasks such as: Respite service: supporting guests with medication, providing a listening ear, supporting sit activities, maintaining a large home, cooking, cleaning, and hosting visiting clinical teams. Residential services: being beside the supported person for appointments, shopping, cleaning, and medication.Community services: home-based support including household tasks, attending appointments, grocery shopping, medication, and exercise from home. Community teams: visiting people in their homes to support recovery daily living activities like medication management, meal planning, grocery shopping, gardening, and household chores.The hours are irregular and offered when available. We operate 24/7. Currently, we need to fill shifts such as: Awake night shifts: 11:00 pm - 7:30 am Afternoon shifts: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm The Team You’ll report to the Team Coach and join our Pathways Wellington team, all dedicated to supporting people experiencing mental illness.You | Mōu You’ll have a caring nature, the ability to work with a person-centred approach, and a recovery-focused mindset with attention to detail. You will also need: A current full driver’s license A current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain one For respite services, holding the NZCertificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or equivalent, or currently studying towards itFlexibility and availability for varying shifts Closing Date: 6 May 2025.
