We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Montessori teacher to work with a primary school-aged child on a part-time basis in Wellington. About the Role: As a Montessori teacher, you will be providing one-on-one instruction to a primary school-aged child in a Montessori setting. Your role will focus on nurturing the child’s academic, emotional, and social growth, following the Montessori principles of self-directed learning. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a direct and meaningful impact on a child’s educational experience.Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one Montessori-based lessons tailored to the child’s needs and interests. Foster independence, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Create a warm, supportive, and engaging learning environment. Monitor and track the child’s progress, adjusting teaching methods as necessary.Develop a personalised learning plan in line with Montessori philosophy. Collaborate with parents to ensure consistent support and development. About You: Proven experience working with primary school-aged children. Strong understanding of Montessori principles and their application. Patient, nurturing, and adaptable in your teaching approach.Excellent communication skills with both children and parents. Ability to create a calm and structured learning environment.
