Cooks will normally be responsible for the following tasks: Maintaining a clean and sanitary working environmentSetting up workstations and preparing ingredients for service Maintaining safe food storage Food presentation Having the following skills and experience can greatly increase your chances of being hired as a cook: Ability to work well in a team Good physical stamina Culinary diploma or similar qualificationFood storage and sanitation knowledge Knowledge of various cookery techniques and best practices We are currently seeking a Cook. The service is fast-paced as customers stay only a short time before being served. The successful applicant will be expected to: Prepare, cook, and serve food to meet the specifications as defined by the service.Assist in supervising and mentoring kitchen staff. Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained. Participate in menu development. Work with fresh produce to deliver high-quality and wholesome dishes. Create a warm, efficient, and fun environment. This position is contracted for 20 hours per week.
